DVD drive cannot see what is there.

Hello,
My Double layer DVD+/-RW when loaded with a blank DVD states bytes used zero,bytes available zero. When try to write to it it says insert a disc. How do I solve this please?

What model do you have?

What software are you using to write a DVD?

How are you trying to write files? As a batch or singly?
