Hi,
I have a VGC-LV1S which was running Windows Vista 32bit, I performed a clean install of the 64bit version of Windows 7. There are a few issues coming up on Device Manager which I'm guessing require a driver update. I have tried using my original CD but this does not work (is this because they will be 32bit drivers?). Windows Media Centre does not pick up a TV Tuner, I downloaded the 64bit driver for a LV2SJ which installed successfully but when going on Media Centre to configure the TV setup it just crashes. I also cannot use the F5 and F6 Keys to change the brightness nor can I zoom in and out using the keyboard.
Is there a set of drivers I can use to help me solve this issue? The Media Centre one is the main one. I have checked here http://www.vaio-link.com/os/vista/64bit/ but they don't seem to have a TV Tuner driver for a LV1S.
Will it just be easier for me to install the 32bit?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

If you find an answer to this problem please let me know on here as I am planning on doing the same thing, but have not bought Windows 7 64 bit as yet.
It may be worth searching on google to see if other users have upgraded Vista to 64 bit on this model or raise a support request to Sony.
