Bitrate of files???

Hi

this is my first post
had my vaio pocket since feb '05 and im lovin it!
Anyway i justed wanted to no if a higher bitrate of an MP3 file uses more memory.

Yes It does take up more memory. It even uses more battey power.

I use 192kbps for my music now, I find that quite good.

MP3 is dead, the codec is old the quality isn't good and the MP3 encoder in Sonicstage is pretty poor. Atrac3 is the only usable Codec in Sonicstage.

I don't think so, all new sony products support MP3 :wink:

the new frimeware and Sonic stage 3.1 support MP3

Yes, but the implement is crap.

If that doesn't work, then try LameMP3. That should be compatible.
