AR31S Motion eye camera not on - code 10 - Help!!!

I have an AR31S and I am trying to Skype but my camera appears not to be on. I have checked drivers for latest versions. The only clue to my problem is this code 10 fault. I do hope someone can help before I have to go out and buy a seperate camera.

Hi tullius and welcome to Club Vaio.

Unfortunately the Code 10 Error does not help us much - it is the error Device Manager reports when it knows there is an error but doesn't know what it is. It is the error code of last resort!

This usually means that the actual hardware is faulty or has become unplugged.

If you are sure you have the right driver but it will not install, then a repair is needed - or you will need that seperate camera.

You can find the Camera Driver in C:\Drivers\Camera
