It is not so immediate, if the TV supports Screen Mirroring (Miracast) you can connect TV and Smartphone in the same home network for example and transmit to the TV what you see on the display of the Smartphone.
If instead the TV Integrates a Chromecast, or you can buy one, also in this case you can send (Cast) the contents from the Smartphone.
