USB Recording and viewing channel

Hi all,

Bravia EX720, with USB recording possibility.

Only thing annoying, is not being able to view a different channel while using the recording functionality.

Am I missing something here, or is it not possible to view and record using two different channels at the same time.

Why is this, and is there a firmware update that's gonna fix this ?

Hi

The record to USB function is ment to be a very quick and simple way of recording a TV channel rather than a full blown recording solution such as a PVR etc. As the TV only has one DVB-T2 tuner as far as I'm aware, this is likely why you can only watch OR record. Thus as this is a hardware limitation, a firmware update wouldn't be able to fix this..
