Last summer i had a new screen fitted to my Kdl-40z5800, this was due to small marks over the screen.
Unfortunatley the panel fitted had clusters of pixels going bright so again this was changed.
Being really good and pleased with the television until the other day when my little boy had the tv on and said to me we got bugs on the tv.The back door was open at the time, On closer a closer look on a blank screen we counted 12 thunder bugs crawling under the panel simular to the marks i had on the original screen. I turned the screen off for 2 days in the hope that they would go away and as though most did. But i still have 4 that appear to of got stuck or fried . I have a five year g'tee with a Sony centre but i don't hold much hope as no doubt it just an act of god or something. Has anyone else had a simular problem and was it resolved by Sony.
