Sony KDL-37EX723 BU coaxial cable connection

Hi

I have a KDL-37EX723BU and a regular TV coaxial cabel that I'm trying to use to connect the TV. I plug one end into the TV out socket in my wall and the other end directly into the back of the TV and ... nothing happens.

I go the "Home" and look at the various options but under the TV options I cant see anything to tune or even select (options are greyed out). The manual only talks about using Top Boxes but I'd rather not have to pay another 80 Quid just to watch TV. Am I missing something badly here... I thought I would be able just to connect directly in to the back of the TV with a regular TV cable.

On the flip side maybe there is no signal coming in from the wall socket (new house, first TV). Anyway to check this via the TV?

Sweet I figured it out! Found the Digital auto turning function that uses the arial connection. All tuned up now.
