Remote volume problem

Can anyone help me with my remote problem. I have a RM-ED009 remote and all the buttons works except the volume button.

I have done a search both on here and the interweb with no joy so if any of you good people can help I would be very grateful.

sounds to me like a faulty unit, have you tried fresh batteries? and how old is it?, you may be able to exchange under warranty,

failing all that go to e bay item number 260611686385

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I've tried fresh batteries without any joy. I bought the TV from John Lewis about 4 years ago so hopefully their 5 year guarantee wil cover it.

The ebay item number doesn't exist.

Hi again, you should be ok with John Lewis they are very good, however should you wish to look it up on e bay again ( that one i sent you may have sold already) it was only a tenner (new) just type the model number of the remote in the search bar and you will get a few on there to choose from

I spoke to John Lewis today and they are arranging for anew remote to be sent out.
