Hi i want to buy a new sony bravia but how can i find out where each model has been constructed? Because i wand to buy a tv only made in Japan. Thanks in advance

As we know sony is a japanese company. That's why i want a sony tv made in japan. It's like i buy a toyota and it's made in turkey...

To be honest, few CE manufacturers manufacture devices in their country of conception now - even Apple build most of their hardware in China for example.

The costs (both financial and environmental) of shipping a TV in from Japan would be horrific, especially in when we were producing CRT devices! As for our Tv's today, we have two fantastic factories, one in Barcelona and one in Slovakia both of whom do a great job. So whilst I appreciate your ideal's, unfortunately its not economically viable to bring in TV's from Japan.
