Lip sync/delay issues after firmware update on KD55-9005B

Got my new SONY TV yesterday and absolutely delighted with performance/features in nearly every area. However, this morning I conducted an online software update (added 2 tuner support, etc) and I now have a lip sync issue when viewing content from my SKY+ HD box. I've tried to change the delay on the SKY box itself but can't seem to fix the problem.

Help appreciated. Part of me wishes I hadn't done the upgrade. In fact is there an easy way to downgrade or go back to a factory firmware setup ?

Weird problem you have their. Unfortunately you cannot roll-back the firmware once updated, even factory resetting wont do that. However, I would recommend a factory reset, as it can solve many problems after a fw update.

There are no settings to adjust lip sync on the tv as far as im aware. When using the sky box, is it only playback of recorded content giving issues or do you have problems with 'live' broadcasts too?

Factory reset is the best bet at this stage anyhow. See how that goes
