KDLEX724 update 14/6/2011

This morning my tv updated itself, the firmware number is now pkg3235eua, i tried searching the support sony site to see if i could find the update details, however that needs updating it is really behind. Does anyone know what this update does?

Never mind I have found out what it does...


  • Improves the problem “intermittent sound while watching BBC HD preview”. (UK only.)
  • Improves performance and stability of the Internet TV features.

Also i noticed it added a feature that I loved on my w4500 (displaying images or visualisations whilst using radio stations)
