KDL32CX520BU TVB-T USB record whilst watching STB

Hi there,

I am considering buying a KDL32CX520BU.  I was just wondering, is the TV capable of performing a scheduled recording from the DVB-T signal to a registered USB hard drive whilst at the same time displaying a different signal over HDMI from a set top box?  This would essentially mean recording one channel (from the built in tuner) whilst watching another (from a satellite receiver for instance)

Don't see why not - I can't see any obvious issues with this. Maybe someone who has a 2011 panel can confirm this is possible?

What might be worth doing just for your own peace of mind is to nip to your local Sony Centre and get them to demonstrate it, as they can simply use a Sky feed or Blu-ray without any bother. You'll then see how the the process works as well.
