KDL-52W5500 Bravia TV & UWA-BR100 Wi-Fi LAN adaptor

Hi can anyone help me out?

I have the above TV and wondered if I can use the above SONY Lan adaptor to connect to the internet instead of cables?

I also have the BDP-S360 Blu-ray player if that makes a difference?
