HDMI Ethernet Connection

I was looking to know if connecting my BDP370 and KDL32EX403 with an HDMI Ethernet cable would allow both products to utilise Bravia internet features from one internet connection?

Hi - no, but you only really need to connect one as the services are basically identical. Out of the two i would connect the Blu-ray player as you get the nicer looking version of iPlayer.

Thanks

Thanks for the response, i already have the 370 connected up, i was just hoping I could link up the tv as well to make it slightly easier for wife and kids to use!

You could get a small Ethernet switch which would split the one ethernet connection into four Ethernet sockets. I use one to connect up pretty much all of my lounge devices..

Bear in mind I don't think there are any devices which support Ethernet over HDMI yet from any manufacturer..

thanks
