Connecting my PC to Bravia using HDMI only shows desktop

Hi,

I have just tried to connect my PC to my new Bravia KDL-37EX503 using an HDMI cable.

My graphics card is a GTX 460 from Gigabyte.

Changing the input to HDMI 1 only shows my PC desktop no matter what else I do on the PC.

Also, there is no sound although when using the NVIDEA control panel to test the sound, the test works fine and I can hear the test tones through the TV.

Any ideas?
