Connect Lan adaptor to Bravia TV or BDP-S370 player?

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40W4710 and a Sony Blu Ray BDP-S370 player. I have just ordered a lan adaptor and was wondering which to connect it to, the TV or the Blu ray player?

Or can I connect to both somehow, any advise would be appreciated:smileyconfused:

Just connect it to the Blu-ray player and use that. Its has far better networking functionality than the TV
