Lagging performance

I updated to android 4.3 and its been sometime, it works well and runs smoothly without lagging. Recently I have noticed some lagging and also tried some boosting apps like CleanMaster, but it is very temporary.

I also have McCafee antivirus installed since 4.1.2, is this antivirus causing lag ?

When on 4.1.2, it didn't feel lag even with the antivius.

My phone is lagging day by day and I also tried restarting, works for sometime and then the LAGGING continues.

I cannot understand why you make posts on the same subject about lag if you have task killers,battery savers etc.There are hundreds posts about the same thing in the SP section.

McAfee is known to cause issues - If you want an anti virus then use Avast which is free and comes top for free Anti virus apps - Tried and tested by an independant company

Well the thing is that even in normal use(without any app on background) it lags.

And for the antivirus stuff, I have premium paid version of McCafee, should I uninstall it ?

Remove it,see how it goes.If you bought it,you can install it later if you think you need it.

even without task killers or antivirus the phone lags after the 4.3 update... sony has destroyed our phone

You can disable chrome,facebook etc.Some users said it helps a lot.

go to setting> apps > and select the fb app and you find the disable button..
