Try Settings - Backup and restore then choose Settings reset, If that doesn't work then try PCC to run a repair if you have already tried PCC then try using SEUS or SUS found here http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

any help sir you can give to me?
thank you for the considerations
backup everything on a PC (music, pictures, videos, etc) then reset the phone
Settings > storage > Clear internal storage
then
turn off your phone > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds, until the phone vibrate 3 times, connect your phone to a wall charger and let it charge, it will take several minutes to turn back on
You can also try
Settings > apps > all > camera > clear everything > restart your phone > check again
If this doesn't work then follow my above suggestions
all i followed carefully all the instructions but no good outcomes.... what can i do now?
I have the same problem on Xperia P.: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-P/Error-Camera-not-available-after-update-to-6-2-A-1-100/m-p/33...
A week ago i've sent my phone to Sony Repair Center and today it is back.
On the 'repair report' I've got ONLY 'Software Update' (earlier I had 6.2.A.1.100 and now it's also 6.2.A.1.100) and of course problem still persists
Sony what can we (or you) do to fix it?????
Few days ago I've sent my handset to Repair Center again.
On 'WWW repair status' I can see: replace motherboard.
I hope that will fix my problems with Xperia P
I have found a (dummy) answer!
just goto Settings > Apps > All
and disable Xperia camera add-ons
My camera is OK after that!
