Some BRAVIA TV models and Blu-ray players include the YouTube for TV app. When starting the YouTube app, an error message may be displayed, or the YouTube app may not launch.
Your device is not defective. If you experience any of these symptoms, please follow the steps below.
Sony's Non-Android Smart TV (2016–2018 models)

In order to resolve this issue, perform the following steps.
- Initialise the TV personal information:
(Applicable for For WD75, WD6, WE75, WE6, XE70, WF6 Series)- Select [HOME] > [Settings]
- Select [Customer Support]
- Select [Initialize Personal Information]
- Select [OK]
Sony's Non-Android Smart TV (2013–2015 models)

In order to resolve this issue, perform the following steps.
- Initialise the browser settings and delete all cookies:
(Applicable for W9xxA, W8xxA, W7xxA, W6xxA, X90xxA, X85xxA, X95xxB, X90xxB, X85xxB, W9xxB, W8xxB, W7xxB, W6xxB and W750C Series)- Launch the browser from the [App] menu
- Select [Options]
- Select [Browser Settings]
- Select [Delete all Cookies]
Sony's Android TV (2015–2018 models)

In order to resolve this issue, please clear the app data and cache from the YouTube application:
- Select [HOME] > [Settings] > [Apps]
- Select [YouTube]
- Select [Clear data] > [OK]
