Why does my HXD_890 lose tuning when it switches off?

Be sure to have the latest fw installed (1.24). After that reset your recorder and unplug it from power for 1 minute.

I have the same recorder and I have lost the tuning for the third time in a couple of weeks.  Because this means that it fails to record programmes, it is a serious problem,  It was fine until the digital switchover - is there a connection?

I have reset the recordert and so far so good.  I would be interested to know how I know what firmware is  runnning and how to install a new version if required.
