Error Message on Sony CD/DVD player DVP-SR750H

Hi,

I purchased the Sony CD/DVD player DVP-SR750H around march time and have been using it fine untill now. Everytime i put a DVD into the machine it loads for a long time and then displays 'E r r o r'

Now i have checked all the usual problems (i.e Faulty disk, dusty machine etc) and nothing seems to be helping.

Does anyone have any ideas on what may be the problem?

Hi

Sorry, but I can't answer your question.

However, I have exactly the same model, purchased at the beginning of April 2012 which is exhibiting exactly the same problem despite working fine until now. I came onto this site to see if any solutions were out there.

I have a portable DVD player which plays all discs no problem at all.

So, if anyone does have an answer or can shed any light on the problem then I'd be keen to know too.
