checking internet speed

I have a bdps-590 - although it has wireless wifi, I have a wired connection through the LAN port. How do I find out the speed of my internet connection through the wired connection - I pressed display on the remote and nothing comes up!

simplest way is use your pc and type speedtest.net in the search bar and check your internet speed there.
