BDP-S480 - compatible NAS drives

Hi,

Can anyone point to any NAS drives that are known to work with the above Blu-ray player.  I bought a Buffalo LS-CHL429 and it does not appear to like playing MKV files at all.

I use Netgears ReadyNas duo an duo v2,  both work perftectly with all my sony tv's an bluray players
