Warranty/Exchange Query

Afternoon all.

 

Bought a Sony Android 49” X800D from John Lewis last March. To date I have had no problems with it. Looks terrific for Virgin TV, 4K movies, PS4 and Netflix HDR.

 

That Said, I am a bit miffed about the failure to implement 4K iPlayer and the ongoing absence of YouTube HDR (which was promised by Sony back in 2016 and one of the reasons I chose the TV.

 

So in light of these broken promises, I am wondering where I stand in asking John Lewis to swap it for another (more expensive) TV.  The simple fact is that the TV does not do what was advertised by Sony and looks unlikely that it ever will. 

 

Appreciate your thoughts.
