I have placed a message about this a couple of weeks ago. Whilst I have resolved part of the sound dropout problem not all. KD49x Google TV
I also note there are several references to this ( very minor) problem but I do not see a reselutution.
Playing through a Cambridge Audio there is millesecond sound dropout 2-3 times in an evenings viewing.
Sony techs do all the question about software update. Done all that. Changed cables.

Assuming your audio connection is ARC, you shouldn't have any issues. Those brief dropouts are almost certainly the TV switching connection methods, which I suspect means a bad connection at an HDMI terminal somewhere, or a dodgy cable.
I see you have changed cables but it's worth swapping them around, checking and cleaning terminals and basically ruling out a physical connection problem, before going any further.
