Have you tried simply to disconnect and reconnect the Ethernet cable?

Sorry if I ask but, of course, also Router side? And ... have you tried a reboot of the router?

I also have this problem since Oreo update.
I only use the TV for online features so is a little frustrating.
Is it likely to get patched to resolve the issue?

They issued a patch and it has not resolved my issue.
Now been asked to try WiFi connection, hotspot connection and direct Ethernet wired connection with no splitters thus far no fix.
After months of trying to fix it I’m not hopeful of any sort of solution.

Have you tried turning off IPv6 on your router ? Seems to solve a lot of connection issues . Did for me anyway .

My brother suggested setting a static IP on the TV rather than allowing DHCP to dish out the address.
Fingers crossed have been a whole day and not seen the 'ethernet is not cnnected' message.

Hiya,
I’ve got the same issue since the Oreo update.
Can I ask what modem/router you have please?
Just wondering what info you used when you chose “static” on the TV. It’s asking me for all sorts like dns etc etc.
Any help much appreciated!
