I want to be able to access the /Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi folders to be able to managed Kodi easier. it's a real pain setting Kodi up and configuring it via the remote and would be much easier if I can access from my laptop and copy over all the config, playlists, etc files from Kodi on my Shield TV.
I've tried a couple of FTP apps on the TV but even though FileZilla appears to connect to it not files are shown and I cannot create any.
Is there any way of doing it?
Thanks
Hi Finchy707,
Officially speaking, I don't think there is a way to do what you've described in your post. Third party apps may help but I wouldn't rely on them being stable or consistent enough, if they work at all.

Thanks for the reply. I was recommended to try the WiFi File Explorer app. That does the job. It's not perfect as the app needs to be running for me to get access, and access is via a web browser on my laptop as opposed to something like Filezilla or WinSCP but it does the job.
I've been able to copy over, edit, delete, etc so if anyone see this and needs to do the same I'd recommend it. There's a free version but I've gone for the Pro version as it's less than £1 so well worth it
By the sound of things I basically do it the other way around @Finchy707. I have X-plore File Manager installed on the TV (it's in Google Play). I've configured that to connect to my NAS box over SMB. Having this installed means that I can copy any files that I need to the TV directly via X-plore that is running on the TV.
