Just purchased both of these units and it appears to be impossible to connect them via Bluetooth.
I've followed instructions to the letter (AFAIK) and two other people have done the same. The end result is that the 'searching for devices' bar justs keeps scrolling across the screen.
ARC HDMI cable disconnected. All other Bluetooth devices off.
Any help appreciated - thank you.
Hi Nicky,
Welcome to the Sony community.
Are you having issues connecting any other devices to your TV?
The first thing I suggest is try to reset the TV and then check if this resolves the issue. Also make sure that your TV has the latest software updates.
Let me know how if this helps.
Best wishes,
Sean Mc
Did you manage to find a solution to this? I am having the same problem.
Thanks
The Bluetooth of the TV is not suitable for the connection of audio devices, there is a workaround that provides installation Side load of the "Bluetooth Pair" App, after having found the installation package of the App (APK) and having downloaded it via Computer (then transferred to TV via USB memory).
On the TV you can install the application after giving permission to install from "Unknown Sources", there is a MENU item in Android TV.
For the installation you need a File Manager that you can download and install from the Play Store.
Probably now you can pair a Bluetooth audio device.
