Bravia XR-42A90K Programme Guide Font Size Too Small

It is difficult to read the Programme Guide from across a room, how can I increase the font size of the Programme Guide? Is it possible or do we need to wait for a firmware update to add this capability?

Press Settings button on remote control.

Select Settings on screen.

Scroll down to System click right and select Accessibility.

Scroll down to Text magnification, switch on.

This has a very limited functionality on the TV guide, have a look and see.

From Accessibility you can also go to Screen reader,

this will read out the text on the TV guide.

But it will also read out any other text based info on screen and can be a bit annoying.

Thanks but that doesn't change the font size of the writing in the Programme Guide.

I think it is a serious limitation in an otherwise excellent TV from Sony and wish to ask Sony to issue a firmware update to add a feature to allow the font to be made larger in the Programme Guide. FYI I have excellent eyesight and I am not disabled.

Yes I know it doesn't increase the size of the font in the guide, I never said it did.

There is no setting to increase the font size on the guide so those two options were the only ones that I thought might help.

You are not talking to Sony here this is a user to user community and very rarely do Sony have any interaction

with it.

This model of TV is about 2 ½ years old now, I have the same model, and you are the first person I have seen complain about the TV guide. How far away from the TV are you.

Maybe you can ask Sony customer services and they may put it forward to the software development team.
