Hard disk memory decreasing

Just got my laptop on this Wednesday, I found this the hard disk memory is decreasing automaticlly everytime when I use my laptop. From originally 96G to 89G now. Is there an error with my laptop? I am just worried about it will keep decreasing again and again. Please help:(

Could be a virus or Spyware....

Have you scanned your computer ?... which Antivirus / Firewall you have ?

welcome to Club Vaio..

The missing HDD space could be due to the space used by Vista's System Restore..

You can check what space is being used and allocated to shadow storage by follow this guide..

Click Start, then click All programs followed by Accessories.

In Accessories Right Click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

In the Command Prompt window type: vssadmin list shadowstorage and then click Enter

Hopefully you should see..
