Speaker problem

Hi

Newby in the forum. As I couldnt find a search tool in the forum I'll post my problem
in hope that someone can give me a hand...

My internal speakers on my VAIO AR series (-08) just stopped working????
One day when I stared the computer up the sound was gone??? Works with external speakers/headphones. A very strange problem..

I've access the workpanel (cant find a better work for it in eng.) and vista says that its no problem with the speakers... GAAAH!! dont know what to do.. i feel like a numb not able to fix this

hi G From it seems to be a common fault with vista and drivers
try updating your sound driver as windows vista will so no problems found (working correctly) even if the hardware isnt connected

if updating the driver dosnt work then (if u have a restore point then try restoring to an earlier date when it was working)

if you dont have a restore point then you will need to backup everything you want to keep and do the vaio recovery console and restore all files and drivers this will sort your problems.

I did update the driver, it didnt change anything 😞
Where can i find a restore point? Im a swede and my computer "talks" swedish

it should be on your windows start menu (where your programs are )
eather called
vaio recovery console
or
vaio recovery center
