IE9 problems

I am having numerous problems with IE9. When I open it it says it is not my default browser. When I click a hyperlink I am asked what program I want to use to open the file. Sometimes I am asked if I want to save temporary files.

I have gone back to IE8 and reinstalled IE9 but no success.

I think this touches on the issue - I don't think I can have IE 64-bit as the default and it causes problems.

I've always been comfortable with internet explorer but maybe I should expand my horizons.

You say you don't use IE. What do you use?

I use Mozilla Firefox. It's free, so give e it a try....
