Hi,

Does anybody know the part number or a link to where i can buy a replacment dc jack for my vaio VGN-SR41M laptop? also, has anybody replaced this part? is the part soldered to the main board or on the end of a harness / cable?

Any help gretaly appreciated

I'm not sure this is a part that you can repair yourself as I believe it's soldered in place however it maybe worth contacting one of Sony's authorised repairers & discussing this with them, if they think it's a user replaceable part them they be able to supply the part to you..

Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support

Under Log-in option 1: Enter your vaio models serial number, which you should find on the bottom of your Vaio.

Then click Log-In

Once logged select Get In Touch

Then Click on the Out of Warranty tab to locate the nearest location..
