problems with recovery

I have a vgn-ar61m and i cannot reinstall windows from my recovery discs, I first of all tried from the recovery partition and then from the discs i created no joy, on the install screen i get an error 305:64 appears at 17%, very annoying, can anyone help. thanks.

welcome to Club Vaio..

Are you able to recover your Vaio by doing the following.?

Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..

Hi there thanks for the reply, and your help. I have tried all ways of recovery, i get to the formatting process bar, and it just stops at around 17%, ughh, Think i'm gonna have to go for the warranty option. but thanks for your help.
