    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have just noticed that when i plug my laptop charger in to an elctrical outlet and my laptop my laptop tells me that i am still operating in battery mode.&amp;nbsp; when this happens the power supply on my charger makes a funny ticking/squeaking sound, when i unplug the power supply the noise slowly fades. it is the original adapter that i recived with my laptop.&amp;nbsp; does anyone know what could cause this problem and how i can fix it please.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
