Overheating of camera?

Hello guys.

I have bought a sony camera (HDR CX240E) over a year ago.

I started using it on March.

From May and then, it started to cut my videos and do some weird things (stop the video like shot but still me speaking and also seperates the videos and I realize that when I put the sd to the pc...)

I realized that when I touch the camera, it is really hot (videos about half an hour..).

Can you tell me, is this happening due to summer? Or started already to break down???

It's been a year and I am not using it even all year...

What to do next?

✔No money for new camera, no money for dslr 😂

Welcome to the community.
Under some conditions the camera may warm up but if you continue to have problems repairs advice can be found here.
