Sony A7Sii Dead Pixels??

Hi,

I've been using my A7Sii since I bought it brand new four months ago and never had any problems with it.

However, today out of the blue, I've noticed hot pink cirlces on my images (see attached images) can anyone give me any advice on what it might be, anything would be appreciated.

PS I have tried to fast forward the date on the settings, but it hasn't changed anything.

Hi Chris and welcome.

Are the spots in exactly the same place on every photo?

Have you checked that there is no dust or dirt on the sensor? There is a sensor cleaning mode in the camera's settings.

Thanks for the reply, the spots are in the same place everytime yes.

I have tried the cleaning mode as well as using a blower to try and get rid of any visible dust. Up until now

I'm reluctant to touch the sensor directly. How would you recommend doing a 'wet clean'?

i know that much time had passed

Have you solved your problem with pixels?

I got same one with my Sony A9

remapping with changing Date doesnot work and it is no DUST

dont know what should do

this is area of these pixels

I had to send the camera back to Sony to replace sensor. As it was within
warranty it was serviced for free.
