Below is a copy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Actually, it does close the apps when you swipe it away. You can easily verify this. Open your browser, now go to homescreen. If you click yor browser again, it will simply 'pop-up' the browser. However, if you swipe it away from the recent apps and launch your browser again, you can see the browser loading everything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px; background-color: #ffffff; color: #686868;"&gt;However, not everything will close when you swipe it away. Some application launch other processes when it started. While swiping can close apps, it doesn't close processes. This processes will either continue run, sleep or close itself depends on its function. For example, swping your whatsapp away close the app, but not the whatsapp process. because if it doesn't run, your won't receive any messages.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px; background-color: #ffffff; color: #686868;"&gt;So, swiping does close apps.
