Sony ZL 10.1.A.1.434 Problem

After the upgrade, Sony ZL 10.1.A.1.434. After i play games, the screen does not respond to touch.

So every time after i play game on my phone i have to reinstall the firmware.

Has anybody got the same problem?

I bought 2 phones (for me and my wife) in different stores. And both got the same problem.

So i was thenking that problem in this update.

Try a factory reset. If it doesn't work try Repair with Sony Update Service.
There must be some softwares you are using causing conflicts.

Same here with Xperia Z. Ufter the update touchscreen is unrespoonsive MOST of the time.

Sometimes it behaves like something is touching icons and allsorts of things happen on their own.

The same happens in safe mode.

How do I repair with SUS on a Mac?! I've got Bridge, but how do I do the repair with an exe file?

On the Sony Bridge for Mc, there's an option to repair the phone. At the top menu, go to Phone and select Repair Xperia device.

Silly me! Thanks. Completely overlooked the top menu.

I really like the phone (the first one which doesn't make miss my iPhone 4), but it reduced me to tears recently

Can confirm that unfortunatelly it won't work. The Pepair function on Mac doesn't work - it becomes stuck.

do you have access to a pc or

uninstall all the apps you have installed and do a factory reset

your phone is showing symptoms that have not been reported here before, as such either an app is causing this or your phone has developed a hardware fault or has been exposed to water - did you check under all the covers for the water indicator turning red

if none of the above works and you have no water ingress then I suggest you return it for evaluation at a service center

I assume you have not rooted the phone
