camera autofocus problem

My phone due to water on it as the agent saied to me they repair it and now ok but I had a camera problem the autofocus not working so any help plz.

If autofocus doesn't work, try clearing data for "Camera" under Settings -> Apps -> All an also try repairing the phones software using PC Companion: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/.

This might however also be a hardware problem. If the above suggestions doesn't help i recommend that you contact a service location or local Sony Xperia support (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/) for assistance.

sir, after clearing the data on the camera. do i have to repoair my phone using pc companion or it is just another suggestion if the first way does not work??

I bought a used phone and bootloader is unlocked.

Now the Rooting Status: Bootloader : Unknown.

Issue is that the camera is unable to autofocus, maybe someone can advise and help me with this issue.

I noticed that after my C5 Ultra Dual had its system update from 5.0 to 5.1, the rear camera won't autofocus anymore. I tried all the focus mode in the setting either using Manual or Superior Auto but it didn't work. I tried clearing data for "Camera" under Settings -> Apps -> All but it is still the same. My C5 Ultra is just 1 week old.

Hi,ive uninstalled the crash monitor app and my camera is focusing fast snappy!ph responding fast too!!could be a bug in the app i guess.u need to root the device in order to uninstall the app

Does it really helps? Uninstalling the crash monitor app... Because my XPERIA m5 too wont auto Focus now... First it used to work very well

Hello, I need help.. when I am filming in selfie mode every now and again it zooms in a little I need the auto focus off but there seems to be no options to turn it off.. I really really need it sorted I have looked all over to try and find a answer
