I got sony experia z3+ , they sold as its Water Proof, But i just used for 5mins in water, touch Screen Was not Working properly, i Went to authorised Sony Service center they gave Estimate like almost rs 12000,

Why to Spend so much when they gave wrong information about Product, I use to refer Sony mobiles to Everyone, now even i dont have trust on sony,

Can any1 pls Suggest how to Dry water inside the cell, i dont want to spend 12k

Keep the phone turned off, open all the flap covers and remove SIM and SD cards. Then place the phone in a well-ventilated area (or in a bowl of rice) for 48 hours. Try to turn it on and see if it's fully operational, if not, then sadly you permanently water-damaged your phone.

Just to correct your information, here are some parts of the official Water Resistance guide by Sony:

Your device has an IP rating. This means that under a strictly controlled laboratory environment, the hardware works as designed even after being exposed to specific conditions.

Sony devices that are tested for their waterproof abilities are placed gently inside a container filled with tap water and lowered to a depth of 1.5 metres. After 30 minutes in the container, the device is gently taken out and its functions and features are tested.

The IP rating of your device was achieved in laboratory conditions in standby mode, so you should not use the device underwater, such as taking pictures. Do not use the device to take photos while performing any type of activity underwater, including diving or snorkeling.

my xperia z3+ got down in water, exept display everything is working fine. i can receive phone call, while pressing camera button camera also working. Screen touch also working. I dont know what is the problem with display.. pls help i have important data in phone memory.
