To me, it sounds like something may have dislodged,

I would back it up using Xperia Companion and then try restarting, knowing it might not come on working, it would then need to be looked at by you Local support

I dropped my z5 compact outside this morning, it didn't fall far but it was onto concrete, only the top landed before I managed to grab it so no smashed screen. However the screen it totally unresponsive, I had headphones in at the time and music continued to play and all notifications are still coming through on my watch so I know it's still working but there's just nothing on the screen.

I don't really want to try a re-start as then I'll be unable to get it back on as I wont be able to enter my PIN etc. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

It sounds like you're gonna have to at least restart, but it sounds likely it's going to need a repair.

Check with your Local support
