Hey,

I've got Xperia 5 and I'm using stock messages from Google as an app for SMS. On my xperia xz2 compact I used to have the option in advanced settings to set - delivery status report but now on Xperia 5 I don't have that. Any clues? Do you guys also don't have this setting?

Your advanced settings page has different options than mine.

It might be operator-related which options we have, I don't think it's a problem of the application itself.

Hey @najodleglejszy yes I'm using the same sim card.

Crap, I still know your nickname from centrumse, sense etc. 10 years ago or more XD I used to use the zielony28x account).

Anyway I found another problem with messaging app - on my xz2 compact I used to send long messages and it always sends them as an SMS but now it's sends as MMS so some of recipents don't get them if they use old phones without mms configurations.

Probably it's the problem only with app so we need to wait for google to fix it?!

Indeed any issue, QoL improvements, etc has to be addressed by the app developer.

They've already update twice messaging app but they didn't repair that issue with lack of delivery status ... the same as phone app. Because of google crap apps Sony is lossing in customers eyes...

you are correct, not just app issues, but network issues, it's terrible when network providers blame the phone instead of be honest about it (network/coverage issues).
