Voicemail notifications keep appearing

Since I started using the XZ, I am getting random voicemail notifications. I can easily clear the notification but I've had my voicemail turned off by my network for a good couple of years so there is never any voicemail to listen to. Probably get the notification between 5 to 10 times a day so its more annoying than anything. Any advice on how I can stop the notifications popping up? I've tried a factory reset and clearing the phone dialler's data with no joy.

that's rather odd, you might want to contact your carrier network

Thanks for replying. Yeah, Its probably a problem with my network. I'll get in touch with them and see what they say. Just checking on the forum on the off chance there was a quick fix as getting in touch with any phone network is never quick!
