xz2 compact network and data internet not working

Recently I purchased xz2 compact. When I used it on first day everything worked fine and then I started with pending software updates. After that network and data internet both stopped working. I tried restarting phone, waited for a day, but then did all reset thing, still it did not work.

I have stopped using it now and back to my year old Xiaomi Mi A1.

Don't know what to do, spent lot of money to buy xz2 compact.

Please help.

I hope Sony team is already working on some software update to fix this.

Are you on Verizon? A lot of people on this thread are having the same problem. The fix so far is to reset the phone through the xperia companion app on your computer.

Thanks for coming forward and trying to help.

No, I am not on Verizon. I am in Finland and network provider is Elisa.

I have the Sim from last one year and it's still working with my old phone.

Also, It worked on first day with xz2 compact and after installing software updates, the network and data internet gone.

I did reset my phone with all the options in the phone settings but nothing helped.

I have the same issue. On the latest PIE firmware WiFi and data internet aren't working.

Are your problems over or not.

Two possible solutions:

- Goto settings and Reset network settings (use the search function)

- do a software repair

Hi @Strampke, I did tried both of the options you mentioned but none of it worked. I returned my phone... Still i am thinking of buying another piece of the same phone again (just for the reason there is no good small size phone except this one). Will see if that works good...
