Thanks for the reply. I've tried to use the pcc to reinstall the software but I can't get it to work. I have followed the instructions to the point where you reconnect you phone to pc by holding the volume button down. But nothing happens. The phone works perfectly most of the time it just seems that you sometimes cannot wake it from sleep mode so you have a black screen. Turns on immediately if you connect it to power source. Checked the proximity sensor in diagnostics and works perfectly

Hi my mum has a m4 aqua. But should has an issue the screen goes black. It receives texts etc and the notification lights come on. But the screen won't turn on and you can't turn it off as you can't see anything. But if you connect to a power source the screen turns on again and works normally for a while. Then it reverts to black the phone is on but you cannot access anything. Hope this makes sense

Thanks again still cant get the phone to repair software sing PCC, I follow the five instructions and when I reconnect usb holding the volume down bitton it does not go to the next step.

It seem to be getting worse if the phone didnt wake up from sleep mode if you connected the power supply it would start immediately, but now it takes it even longer to get going, basically the phone is useless, does not work for large parts of the day
