Z3 WiFi and mobile data

While at home on WiFi my z3 is still using mobile data at the same time?? I can see the upload and download symbols working as well as the WiFi symbols? Any help would be appreciated. It's a pain as I have now used 4gig this month.. Many thanks

That mean that you are sending or receiving MMS, which they can only be sent/receive through data

I like your thinking but I never send or receive mms, and if that's the case it would only last a few mins not the whole time I leave the mobile data on.

Check if you experience the same on Safe Mode, if you don't then it's a third party app causing this problem.

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu
3. press and hold "power off"
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

All apps are closed yet it still does this. I can be streaming a move on WiFi yet the mobile data is flashing. I will try safe mode in morning g when I finish work.

Sounds to me like you have a weak signal on wifi and it's using data to fill on the gaps if you catch my drift. Is this happening when you are in direct line of sight of the router? I've had this issue before.
