home and Bluetooth music issues

When I connect to Bluetooth in my vehicle to play music it always starts playing from the start. Can't it remember where it was last playing or even just not start automatically playing?

Sometimes it doesn't even play at all.

Since installing version 5.0 I am always asked for my home choice even though I have selected to always do home when it asks and in the home settings. Very annoying!

Can anyone please help?

The phone is an Xperia z3

It's possible you are cleaning the cache which will erase settings of this nature or you need to setup Smart connect

And about the home issue,do you use a default launcher?
