phone won't turn on or charge

My sony xperia xa1 turned off randomly today - it had over 50% battery when this happened.

I cannot switch it back on.

When i plug the charger in the red light comes on then vibrates and goes off again and just keeps repeating like that. When i press the on button and the volume up button together it vibrates then vibrates 3 times in a row then goes back to vibrating on and off.

Can anyone suggest anything i can try or is that the end of my phone?

Same problem . struggling getting data from that phone. Is there any remedy or atleast retieve all contacts.
